There are many books available that tell the reader What to do to manage money well. This is the first one I've seen that addresses the underlying problem that prevents MANY of us from being able to apply good advice to our finances.

GREAT book

I really enjoyed reading this book and got a lot out of it. I plan to re-read it and put the suggestions into practice. I don't call my inner child a brat but I sure hear a lot of "I want, I want, I want" and "More, more, more" from her. Learning to redirect that energy will make life less complicated.

Makes sense to me

Laugh out loud funny, with basic reasoning. It's about knowing what you need, not what you want.
Look within yourself to understand why you overspend. I like to reward myself for things that have to be done, no reward necessary. Pam explains that this is my inner brat crying for attention.
