A Guide to Living a Soul-Inspired Life

What My Soul Told Me is the second great book published by Richard Barrett in 2012. The first; "Love, Fear and the Destiny of Nations" is a work of historic proportions on the evolution of humanity. This smaller volume is about the very personal work of our individual contribution to that greater evolution.
The first part of this book is an excellent introduction to Richard's cosmology and his seven levels of consciousness model. The second part contains practical advice on how to connect with the longings of your own soul so that you can evolve and develop your highest potential. Readers who wish to play an active role in evolving a world that works for everyone will find this part of the book of greatest value. If we wish to see change in the world, we must first become the change we wish to see. This book offers a path to that becoming by connecting with, befriending and trusting your soul so that your ego and your soul become one. Richard is one of the rare thought-leaders walking the world today who understands and lives such a soul-inspired life. In this work, he shares his process so that we may find our own way to live a soul-inspired life.

Richard does it again!

I've read this once and will read again next month on vacation - it was that good! Part One is a great introduction for people to the genesis of his earlier books and the consciousness model. Part Two is a more practical guide to deepen your own self-actualization efforts of levels 4 - 7. As always, Richard makes the complicated, simple enough for everyone to understand.

A master at work...

Richard Barrett is an outstanding author. His book: "What My Soul Told Me" is simply mastery. This is a serious book about a big topic in which he effortlessly brings into being and is able to put across very complex concepts simply, elegantly and articulately. Richard's explanations and expositions of the soul, the ego and consciousness are very well formed and easily grasped. It is a compelling approach and very accessible. I have been exploring this topic for some years myself now and have become dedicated to helping, guiding and teaching people to expand their awareness and consciousness as my own life's work. This book is without doubt one of the best books I have read on this topic to date.
After reading this book it had enabled me to genuinely understand human consciousness and its dynamics in very concrete and real terms. In my opinion Richard has a incredible talent at being able to explain in very clear and easy terms what other authors and books have only managed to allude to over the past decades. This is a ground breaking and illuminating book. I thoroughly recommend reading this book if you are interested in expanding your own consciousness to higher levels. Thank you Richard for your contribution to us all.
